Lantic Star

1st - 8th September 2023. We stayed at Lantic Star with our little Daschund Tilly- we loved it so much we have already booked to go back for two weeks next year. The bungalow is comfortable, modern, spacious and has everything you could possibly need and more. My husband has mobility issues following recent spinal surgery - The layout of Lantic Star and its location was absolutely perfect in a quiet part of St Merryn Park, but with the main amenities nearby. The large garden is fully enclosed, which meant we could relax and not worry about Tilly wandering around ( she even had her own little welcome pack on arrival! ) The owners provided ample information about local eateries, the beaches and places of interest - there is something for everyone and no shortage of places to explore. This was a very relaxing, stress free holiday and we are really looking forward to going back.

Wonderful place to stay with a lot of thought and the extra touches that made our holiday all that easier! Lovely peaceful site but well located to get out and about in the area.
So close to our favourite beaches at Treyarnon and Constantine for great days exploring the coastline. We had 2 Labradors with us and they were made as welcome as our family. Would definitely recommend.

Lantic Surf

We have just returned from a week in the Lantic Surf. I went with my mom, daughter, son, daughter in law and 2 year old grandson. We had absolutely beautiful weather so spent most of the week out and about but when we were at home it was just what we needed. My grandson particularly loved being able to play outside in the garden safely and for the whole family to sit together and eat. I would highly recommend the bungalow and Cathy was so helpful with all the arrangements. 5 star!!

Returned from a lovely week at Lantic Surf. A fabulous bungalow for the family, with lovely welcome gifts for the humans and the dogs. You could smell the cleanliness as soon as walked inside. The hosts were really helpful, recommending places to eat and visit. There are lots of lovely beaches nearby and the bakery on the village is fab. Thank you for a welcoming home from home Break.

Hi we had a week of rain but it still was a good trip

We would love to come back again next year as wife enjoyed the local area dispite getting wet and so did dogs thanks for the treats

Lantic Surf

Unfortunately it was only a short break for us due to work commitments, but it was an amazing trip where we explored a lot of local beaches and the beer gardens :D There is a decking to the rear of the bungalow with a large bbq and seating for 6+. The garden was enclosed and landscaped nicely. We brought along my mother & father in law. They enjoyed their stay also with it all being flat and no stairs, the 2 single beds for them were comfortable. Linen was clean and bathroom polished all lovely. Could do with a hot tub for the hell of it. Noticed an electric charging port being fitted the day we left, a good modern touch! Love from the Whelans. June 2023

Lantic Star

Arrived at the property to some sunshine! Place smelt fresh and clean & there is everything you could need and more! Even a treat for the dog, and a little welcome hamper for us! “RODDAS” Milk and Cornish tea bags were a nice touch. Cathy is a very helpful host and her email explains everything in such detail we didn’t need to bother her atall.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to explore more of Cornwall next time.

Just back from a fabulous stay in Lantic Surf, home from home living.
Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy towels totally forgot where we were, definitely 5* in our eyes, with all the home comforts, nothing was too much trouble with the owners when we had a couple of questions and loved that we could take out lovable lab, who loved sniffing around the garden.

Love all the suggestions of where to visit, beaches and restaurants. From Dinner at the Cornish arms, Raffertys and the Farmers arms and tea and scones at bedruthen steps

truly loved our time at lantic surf and will definitely be booking again soon.

Lantic Surf

We stayed in the 3 bed bungalow and it was a lovely stay, 5 of us stayed there with two dogs & it was very relaxing with a lovely size garden safe for dogs.
There we're thoughtful welcome gifts when we arrived for dogs aswell , we would be happy to stay again in the future, thank you Cathy for allowing us to stay in your bungalow.

We have just returned after 2 weeks staying in Lantic Star.
The accommodation was perfect for a family holiday with teenagers and a dog!
Lovely and clean with fresh linen and towels provided.
The kitchen is very well stocked with all utensils, cleaning equipment etc. The living area is spacious, and along with the garden room there is plenty of comfortable seating.
As we have had glorious weather (the fan in the bedroom was a Godsend!) we have used the garden and BBQ several times for eating outside. The garden is fully enclosed and the location is really quiet.
St Merryn Park is a perfect location to visit all of our favourite beaches- Porthcothan, Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay are all within a 10 minute drive. All are dog friendly.
Padstow with its lovely Harbour and shops again is only a 10 minute drive. There is a Tesco supermarket in Padstow but also a further 10 mins away there is a Tesco, Aldi and Lidl in Wadebridge.
We will definitely return.

We just had a lovely week, staying at the Lanctic Surf. Very clean, spacious and welcoming bungalow. Garden is large and well kept, if it was warmer in the evenings, we would have happilly sat there and had a BBQ every night. The living area is very cozy and homey and the sun shines through the big glass door in the morning which makes having a breakfast at the large dinning table a very pleasant experience. The kitchen is fantastically well stocked with utencils and plates, cups, glasses etc... Bathroom is large and includes extra free standing shower to the one above bathtub. Bedrooms have plenty of storage as well as comfy beds. The bungalow is tucked into a corner plot of a quiet cul de sac with plenty of parking. Makes it all nice and private. We looked forward to getting back to it each day for a nice cozy evening in. The location is perfect for easy and fast access to Padstow (around 10 mins drive to the harbour). It is also close to lovely beaches. Very short drive to St Merryn with its take aways, convenient store, bakery and lovely restaurants. We made the Salt & Samphire restaurant our "local". One thing to note, is that the convenience store does not get deliveries on a Monday so the stock is very low and the restaurants of St Merryn and The Venue which is part of the holiday park are closed on Mondays. This might not be the case in high season, but it took us by surprise a bit. There is Tesco on the way to Padstow, only few minutes drive. There is also a self serf little farm shop couple of minutes drive away with huge freezer full of fresh meat products, lush dairy products and fresh fruit and veg on offer. It is opened early and closes late, which is fab. We would highly recommend the accommodation and if we visit that area of again, it would be our first choice. The communication with the owner was always smooth and timely and we felt extremely well taken care of. Happy holidaying!

We had a lovely family holiday last week in both of these holiday homes, weather was amazing. They make a very good base for exploring the area especially the seven bays. They are very well equipped with everything you can possibly need, a parasol in the gardens would be handy for shade. The new garden room is lovely too. Really loved our week and we will return

What a week at Lantic Surf. Fantastic location with loads to do for both the two and the four legged children.
The house was perfect, roomy and spotlessly clean and a huge garden for a holiday let- so much so I thought we'd lost the dog in the garden when we arrived in the dark...
Already raving about it to my friends....thank you for the attention to detail (and the welcome treats for the whole family on arrival!).

We have just returned home from a fantastic stay in Lantic Surf, the accommodation was absolutely great!
We are a family of five and found the accommodation very comfortable, clean and homely, it has everything you need for a break away.
Ideal location for so many beautiful beaches and attractions.
I would highly recommend a stay and can’t wait to book another stay soon.

We stayed in Lantic Star over October half term and have previously stayed in Lantic Surf. Both bungalows are equipped with everything you could possibly need and have been immaculately clean offering extremely comfortable accomodation.
The location is perfect within 5 or 10 minutes of some of the best beaches in the area. Our puppy was in heaven!
We would not hesitate to recommend for a relaxing family break.
